During the night before October 16, Russian forces shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region. One of the missiles was intercepted by Ukrainian air defense forces, while another hit the Dnipro district.

This was reported by the head of the Regional State Administration (RSA), Serhiy Lysak.

As a result of the shelling, several infrastructure objects were damaged, including two stores and a cafe, a private enterprise, a religious building, a transportation facility, a park, several houses, and a bus stop. Nearly 1,500 families were left without electricity.

Additionally, the occupiers shelled the Nikopol district five times. In Nikopol, shells damaged two buildings, a religious object, and electrical networks. In the Marganets community, two buildings, a religious object, and electrical networks were also damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the shelling.
