On October 19, the Russian military struck Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the enemy attack, two people were injured.

This information was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

It is noted that at 12:15, the Russian military carried out an artillery strike on the private sector of Vovchansk.

This caused a significant fire and destruction in a private yard. The fire covered an area of 350 square meters and engulfed a garage, two utility buildings, and a car. According to preliminary information, two people were injured. The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that the two injured individuals are 74 and 69 years old. They suffered from blast and shrapnel injuries. Medical assistance is being provided to the injured.

By 3:00 PM, firefighters managed to extinguish the fire.

As a reminder, on October 19, explosions were also heard in Dnipro and Zaporizhia. The Air Force warned of a missile threat in eastern Ukraine and urged the residents of Dnipro and Zaporizhia to seek shelter.
