A shell hit a residential building in Zelenivka, Kherson region. As a result, a man was killed.

This information was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

“The occupiers targeted a residential building in Zelenivka. 12 specialists were involved in clearing the rubble. During the rescue operation, the State Emergency Service discovered the body of a man. His identity is being established”, wrote Prokudin.

As a result of the shelling, a 36-year-old man in the suburbs of Kherson was injured. He sustained injuries to his back and torso.

The Right Bank of the Kherson region was liberated in November 2022. However, a part of the region remains under constant shelling by the occupiers. Russians are targeting the civilian population with heavy weaponry, artillery, and aviation.

During the past 24 hours on October 26, Russian terrorists carried out 114 shelling incidents, firing 500 shells from mortars, artillery, “Grads,” tanks, aircraft, and UAVs within the region. In particular, the enemy fired 33 shells towards Kherson.
