The main efforts of the Russian forces are focused on conducting offensive and assault operations in the directions of Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Zaporizhia.
This was reported by the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops “Tavria,” General Oleksandr Tarnavsky.
On the Avdiivka front, the enemy is conducting assault operations towards the populated areas of Novoselivka Druha and Krasnohorivka. On the Mariinka front, the opponent continues shelling the positions of Ukrainian forces with artillery and mortars. On the Zaporizhia front, the enemy is attempting assault actions towards the populated areas of Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Kamianka.
Overall, on these fronts, the enemy is attacking with infantry supported by armored vehicles and aviation. Russian forces are using guided aviation bombs to destroy Ukrainian positions. The enemy is also attempting to breach the defense of Ukrainian forces by conducting massive artillery and mortar shelling.
The situation on these fronts remains tense.
