The fledgling was named Alexander in honor of the crane driver who helped rescue it.
In the village of Lyutizh in the Vyshhorod region, one of the households sheltered an abandoned bird; it was managed with difficulty to get it out of its nest, which was abandoned by the parent storks. Facebook user Rostyslav Kravets talks about it.
As he said, adult storks left the nest, and people noticed that there was a baby stork left in it. They decided to save him. “They stopped the crane driving along the road and asked for help to retrieve it. They quickly made a basket out of pallets and got a fledgling stork,” he said. The bird was named after the crane driver.“
When they were thinking about what name to give it, they asked what the crane driver’s name was, and his name was Oleksandr, that’s how they named a stork. It will suit both a girl and a boy,” he writes.
At first, a fledgling stork resisted when people tried to feed him, but when he saw the first delicacy, he changed his mind.
“At first, the fledgling didn’t want to eat or drink, they forced it to drink when they brought the fish, everything went very quickly, and he started eating. So far, it has been given to a reliable household. We will visit it and see how it grows. The one who rescue the bird was a local schoolteacher and the father of our colleague, we are grateful for him. The main thing is to always be human. Everyone has a power to change this world for the better,” – he posted.
