On Sunday, January 14, the fourth meeting of advisors to the heads of states to discuss the Ukrainian Peace Formula will take place in the Swiss city of Davos.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland.

“On January 14, 2024, in Davos, Switzerland and Ukraine will hold the fourth meeting of National Security Advisors (NSAs) within the framework of the ‘Ukrainian Peace Formula.’ The conference, co-chaired by federal advisor Ignazio Cassis and the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, aims to conclude negotiations at the level of National Security Advisors on the principles of achieving a lasting and just peace in Ukraine”, the statement said.

As the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes, these principles are intended to form the basis for the next stages of the peace process. It was also emphasized that 80 delegations will participate in the meeting.

“Over 80 delegations will participate in the NSA meeting in Davos this Sunday. The focus will be on the peace formula initiated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at the end of 2022. This formula consists of ten principles for achieving lasting peace in Ukraine”, the statement said.

It is expected that, following the first three meetings of the NSAs in Copenhagen (June 25, 2023), Jeddah (August 5-6), and Malta (October 28), the results of the working groups’ work will be presented, and the next steps will be discussed at the fourth meeting in Davos.

Recall that in November 2022, at the G20 summit, Volodymyr Zelensky presented a 10-point peace formula, which includes, among other things, the restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, the withdrawal of Russian troops, the release of all prisoners, a tribunal for those guilty of aggression, and security guarantees for Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will personally attend the meeting in Davos and is expected to address the gathering with a special statement.
