As a result of the Russian attack on Odesa during the night of January 17, five people were injured, with four of them currently hospitalized.
The Odesa City Council reported this on January 18.
In the hospital are a 62-year-old man with shrapnel wounds and three women born in 1955, 1970, and 1995, suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

During the night of January 17, the Russian army attacked Odesa with drones. Eleven drones were shot down over the region. Most of them fell into the water, but fragments of several hit civilian objects.
The attack damaged heating networks, leaving 58 buildings without heating. In the evening of January 17, heating was restored to all buildings, except for those on 8/4 Army Street, which suffered the most significant damage.
