According to Marcus, the name should be "creepy" for russians and at the same time "with an intellectual connotation".

Valery Markus announced this on his Facebook page.

Marcus announced the following requirements for the title:

“1. The name should be natively woven into the full name of “Separate Assault Regiment…”. 2. The name should match to the spirit of our job, it should be a little creepy (for enemies, of course), with an intellectual connotation, to make the impression of the irreversibility of the enemy’s death or the creation of a permanent problem for his existence in this world.”

Name variations can be shared in the comments below the post or in the chatbot of the regiment’s charity foundation using the link.

The following variations of name are already in the comments: “Chornobai Cossack regiment”, “name after Stepan Bandera’s”, “Robokop”, “Characteristic Cossacks”, “Markus Separate Assault Regiment”, “name after Ivan Sirko”, “Sashko Polozhynskyi’s regiment”, “name after Vasyl Stus” and others.

Marcus recently announced a new recruitment for his unit and announced that the 47th Battalion will become a regiment.
