The aggressor state Russia is purchasing communication equipment, including Starlink satellite internet terminals, for use in warfare in Arab countries.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In a recent radio intercept, Russian occupiers discuss the possibility of acquiring Starlink satellite communication terminals. According to the GUR, they have managed to find out that Russians are purchasing Starlink terminals through Arab intermediaries.

According to one of the invaders, “the Arabs bring everything: cables, Wi-Fi, routers…”, and the cost of purchasing the Starlink device is 200,000 rubles ($2.000).

It is worth noting that recently there has been information in the media that Russians on the front lines have started using Starlink satellite communication terminals. However, yesterday Elon Musk, the owner of SpaceX, denied selling his Starlink satellite communication terminals to Russia either directly or indirectly.
