The German Bundestag rejected a resolution regarding the delivery of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine.

This is reported by the German publication Bild.

It is noted that 495 Bundestag deputies voted against the supply of the German Taurus cruise missile, while 190 supported it.

The issue of supplying Taurus missiles to Ukraine was raised by the CDU/CSU faction.

Earlier, it was reported that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz once again stated his reluctance to supply Taurus missiles to Ukraine.

He said he “does not want to cross that line”.

Recall that recently the United Kingdom offered Germany assistance in supplying Taurus missiles to Ukraine. This is about the so-called “ring exchange” option: Germany transfers Taurus missiles to Britain, and Britain, in turn, supplies Ukraine with additional Storm Shadow missiles.
