On March 21, the Russians attacked Kyiv. As a result of the attack, 13 civilians were injured, four of whom were hospitalized.

6 people were affected in the Sviatoshynskyi district, and 7 in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Four civilians were taken to the hospital with injuries. There were no fatalities.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a multi-story residential building was damaged with a flat on fire, and the evacuation of people is underway; at another address, cars caught fire; explosive waves damaged windows in some buildings.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, debris damaged a preschool educational institution building, and damage to a multi-story residential building was also recorded, with cars burning in this area as well.
In the Podilskyi district, debris fell on the territory of non-residential buildings and on the roof of a residential building with subsequent ignition; a fire was also reported on the roof of a non-residential two-story building.
On March 21, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed approximately thirty enemy missiles. During the attack, the Russians used cruise missiles X-101/X-555/X-55 from the boards of strategic bombers Tu-95MS and ballistic missiles from the territory of the Russian Federation.
