The Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed a drone strike on an aviation enterprise in Borisoglebsk, Voronezh Oblast, Russia.

This was reported by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, in an interview with Radio Liberty.

“Yes, it’s an aviation plant. This is what we can confirm from various sources. There was noise – that we can also confirm. We won’t disclose details, but according to preliminary information, the main production facilities of the enterprise were affected”, Yusov said.

It is worth noting that Russian sources reported that two drones struck the center of Borisoglebsk.

Earlier, Russian Telegram channels, including Baza, reported drone strikes on the territory of the aviation center in Borisoglebsk. They wrote that despite attempts to shoot down the drones with small arms fire, two of them still struck the center’s territory.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems allegedly shot down four drones: two in the Belgorod Oblast of Russia and two in the Voronezh Oblast. There was no information about strikes on the aviation plant.
