Earlier, Yevgenia Hapchynska did not tell how she survived the beginning of a full-scale war

Ukrainian artist Evgenia Hapchynska published a post on Facebook in which she told how she experienced the beginning of a full-scale war with russia.

Hapchynska reported that her husband, the artist Dmytro Gapchynskyi, has been serving in the Armed Forces since the beginning of the Russian invasion. And she returned to Kyiv with her little four-year-old son, because her home in the Makariv district of the Kyiv region was occupied by the russians is still damaged and looted  .

She also shared a new painting, “I’m Fearless,” in which a little girl in a wreath fights off a tiger attack and protects a fairy-tale unicorn.

“I have never written anything about myself before. For everyone who is interested in where I am and how I live now. I am almost 48 years old. I have an adult daughter and a 4-year-old son. My husband has been in the Armed Forces since February 24. My house is in the Makariv district, near Kyiv. The house was occupied by russians, it was damaged and looted. Now I am in Kyiv. I cried and cut off my hair. I take care of my son; I pray for my husband. I thank God that I am alive. I started working,” – Hapchynska shared.

Earlier, Hapchynska reported that her gallery opened its doors again in Kyiv.
