On the morning of April 24, Russians launched missile attacks on Odesa. Explosions were heard in the city, followed by smoke appearing in the sky and power outages.

This was reported on air by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “Pivden” (South) Sergiy Bratchuk to KYIV24.

“Today, in the morning, there was an enemy attack on Odesa using missiles. Details about the type of missiles, the target of the attack, and the consequences will be provided later. There is a response algorithm, and everything will be reported soon”, he said.

Bratchuk noted that the Russians had been actively using reconnaissance drones the day before. “The only thing I can mention is that the enemy was actively using reconnaissance drones yesterday. Our air defense forces were working. Almost every day, these drones are being shot down. So, the situation is quite expected; we remember that the war continues, and enemy attacks are ongoing in our region”, added spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “Pivden”.
