On April 25, Russian forces attacked the Cherkasy region. A critical infrastructure object was damaged, and six people were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Igor Taburets.
“This morning, the enemy attacked our Cherkasy region. The air defense system reacted to the high-speed aerial target”, Taburets said.
According to preliminary information, a critical infrastructure object in the Cherkasy region was damaged.
“No casualties. Six people have sought medical assistance so far. All services are on-site”, the head of the OVA noted.
Later, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yevlash, stated that the enemy launched one missile at dawn, presumably an “Iskander-K” missile, targeting the Cherkasy region, specifically the city of Smila.
“Civil infrastructure was hit, and logistic rail connections were also damaged. Additionally, the strike damaged administrative buildings, cars, and civilian property”, he explained.
