Students at the school in Podil bought a medical equipment for the “Ghosts of Kyiv” instead bouquets of flowers for the graduation evening

The Hero of Ukraine, Lt. Col. Vyacheslav Yerko, who died in an aerial battle with russian invaders, studied at school No. 2.

The Graduates year 9-11 of specialized school No. 2 named after D. Karbyshev refused traditional bouquets at the graduation evening.

With the collected funds, medical equipment was purchased for the “Ghosts of Kyiv” aviation brigade. This is reported by the Department of Education of the Podilsk District of Kyiv.

“The children decided to support this particular military unit after hearing the story of the heroic defense of Kyiv by the pilots of the tactical aviation brigade in the first days of the russian invasion,”.- the Department of Education of the Podilsk District of Kyiv posted.

It is reported that the Hero of Ukraine, Lt. Col. Vyacheslav Yerko, who died in air combat with the invaders during the defense of Kyiv Oblast, studied at this school.
