The President assures that there has been progress on the Czech initiative regarding artillery ammunition. Specifically, he noted that the problem of the "shell hunger" has been overcome.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during a meeting with journalists.
“For the first time in years of war, not a single brigade is complaining about the lack of artillery shells. This has been the case for the past two months. However, there is still a lot of work to be done. The Czech initiative will continue. We are negotiating with all partners regarding funding”, he said.
According to Zelensky, a new initiative is opening up where partners will provide funds for the production of our drones, specifically for electronic warfare (EW) in this particular direction. He added that the technical specifications of Ukrainian drones are improving.
“We are starting to produce many of them, but there is no money for them; we can produce more than there is funding for”, the president explained.
It is worth recalling that at this press conference, Zelensky also stated that the occupiers have not advanced beyond the first line of defense in the Kharkiv region. According to him, the deepest point of Russian advancement is 10 kilometers.
