In Sevastopol, the last Russian missile carrier in Crimea might have been destroyed. Three submarines and five surface missile carriers remain in Novorossiysk.

This was reported on the air of KYIV24 by Andriy Ryzhenko, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Navy from 2004-2020.

There was information that the day before yesterday, a strike was carried out on the locations of surface ships in Sevastopol, specifically in Kuriyna Bay. This bay is located in the northern part of the city. Small ships, the size of corvettes, are based there. Traditionally, Russian missile ships and Ukrainian Navy ships were based there before the occupation.

He added that this “Karakurt” class corvette was new, built in Kerch. It is the only missile carrier that remained in Sevastopol. There are eight missile carriers left in the Black Sea: three submarines and five surface ships, which are now in Novorossiysk.

Earlier, it was also reported that the Russian Black Sea Fleet might have lost the small missile ship “Cyclone,” which is the last cruise missile carrier in Crimea. It should be noted that since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 26 Russian ships. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have “eliminated” one submarine.
