As a result of the Russian missile strike on Lviv, a residential building was destroyed and civilians were killed.
Maxim Kozytsky, the head of the Lviv Regional Administration, reported that.
“There was a fire that was quickly extinguished. There are casualties. Firefighters, medical personnel, and emergency services experts are working at the scene. People are being provided with all necessary assistance. Rescuers are clearing the debris”, the statement said.
The destruction of the building is extensive. The 3rd and 4th floors were practically completely destroyed. Additionally, around 30 buildings and over 50 cars have been damaged.
There is information about 4 deaths and 34 injuries as a result of the Russian attack. Rescuers continue to clear the debris. Psychologists are also working at the scene.
In an interview with KYIV24, Vitaliy Turovtsev, the head of the press service of the State Emergency Service in the Lviv region, said that there could still be two people under the rubble.
Overall, the air defense missile units and the aviation of the Air Force managed to destroy only 7 out of 10 “Kalibr” missiles during the night of July 6.
