Ukrainian parliamentarian David Arakhamia, the head of the "Servant of the People" majority faction, has proposed declassifying data on Ukraine's losses in the war.

Arakhamia made this announcement during a panel discussion titled “2024: Scenarios for the Country”, as reported by “LB”.

“When you go out on the streets and ask people about losses, I have never heard less than 100,000. And our losses are much smaller”, he stated.

Arakhamia believes that raising awareness about Ukraine’s actual losses in the war will show that the losses “are not as significant as they imagine”.

According to the politician, President Zelensky has not yet made a decision regarding such an initiative. The military command does not disclose information about Ukraine’s losses in the war against Russia, particularly to prevent this data from aiding the occupiers. However, 16,000 individuals are registered as missing under special circumstances.
