To date, about 66,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) have been registered in the capital, leaving their homes due to the full-scale Russian invasion.

There are more than 9,600 children registered.

Most displaced persons are from the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kyiv regions. About 15,000 people evacuated from Mariupol. The largest number of IDPs was registered in the Sviatoshynskyi, Desnianskyi, and Darnytskyi districts.

Today, IDPs can receive psychological counseling and legal assistance at VcentriHub city hubs.

The YaMariupol comprehensive assistance humanitarian center was opened in Kyiv with the support of the city council. The center aims to help IDPs from Mariupol. It’s where they can get psychological and legal support, receive help finding a job, and restore their documents. In addition, the center has children’s rooms, where folks can get baby food and supplies for children.
