Musician John Ondrasik and his band Five for Fighting released a video for the song "Can One Man Save the World", featuring the Ukrainian orchestra.

The musicians say that the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, became the inspiration for the song. The song was written in March, almost a month after the full-scale invasion.

“It’s not just a tribute song,” Ondrasik told Good Morning America. — “It’s a plea to the rest of us to support him(Volodymyr Zelenskyi). We don’t know how this is going to end.”

To create the clip, Ondrasik and the film crew traveled to war-torn Ukraine. They filmed amid the ruins of the Antonov airport, in front of what’s left of “Mriya,”the world’s largest plane, which was destroyed by the Russian invaders at the beginning of the war.

The musician noted that it was difficult to see the ruins with his own eyes, but this is what inspired him to tell the best possible story and help people.

Proceeds from the single and video will benefit to the Save Our Allies organization, which provides support for the evacuation of people from Ukraine.
