As a result of the Russian double missile strike in Odessa, 16 people have died. Another 55 people are hospitalized with injuries.

The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kipper, reported this during the “Unified News” telethon.

“There is a large private sector located there (…) The street is not closed, the street is open, where people are constantly present, constantly moving along it. This is one of the main arteries connecting the microdistricts of Odesa”, the head of the OVA said about the strike site.

Additionally, 55 people with injuries are in the hospital, with 10 in serious condition. He noted that information about the hospitalized is still being established. Over 200 residents of Odessa and guests of the city have donated blood for the victims after the enemy attack, and about a hundred more people are waiting in line at reception points, Kipper said.

Russian occupiers attacked Odessa on March 15 with Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of the missile attack, a three-story building was destroyed, a recreational facility was damaged, at least 10 private houses were damaged, as well as a low-pressure gas pipeline, ambulance cars, and fire and rescue vehicles. Rescuers have extinguished the fire and are now clearing the rubble.
