In the Novorossiysk Bay of Krasnodar Krai, a large landing ship of the Northern Fleet was damaged as a result of a drone attack.
This was reported by Russian media.
It is specified that the ship “Olenegorskiy Gornik” was damaged in the Novorossiysk Bay due to the drone attack. It should be noted that this ship belongs to the Northern Fleet, not the Black Sea Fleet, and it was brought to the Black Sea to reinforce the assault group and conduct landing operations near Odessa.
A video has also surfaced showing an overwater drone of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) attacking the enemy ship in Novorossiysk, carrying 450 kg of TNT, where about 100 crew members are believed to be present.
Social media posts, citing sources within the Security Service, mention that the special operation was conducted in collaboration with the Navy.
As a result of the attack, the “Olenegorskiy Gornik” sustained a serious breach and is currently unable to carry out its combat tasks.
