The flag on the building of the British Embassy in Kyiv has been lowered to half-mast to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons reported this on Twitter.
“UK in Ukraine flies the flag at half-mast outside our Embassy in Kyiv. Thank you to everyone who has sent kind messages of condolence,” she wrote.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland aged 96 on September 8.
