On the morning of August 22, the municipal services of Kyiv will lower the main state flag of Ukraine for several hours.
This is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
The canvas will be replaced according to the schedule of regular works, and already at noon on August 22, the flag will be raised again over the slopes of Kyiv. This is necessary to keep the canvas of the main national flag and the flagpole in good condition.
The construction of the flagpole is the largest in Ukraine, the height of the flagpole is almost 90 meters, the weight is 32 tons. The size of the flag panel is 16 by 24 meters.
