Due to the massive Russian shelling on Tuesday, December 26, the energy infrastructure of Kherson has been affected.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, reported this.
70% of residents in the city are currently without electricity. According to him, power engineers are already working to assess the extent of the damage, and after that, they will proceed to emergency restoration work. It is currently impossible to accurately determine the final deadlines for repairing the power lines.
Recall that on December 26, Russian occupiers attacked the railway station in Kherson. An evacuation train and 140 people waiting for it came under fire. As a result of the shelling, a police lieutenant was killed at the station. Two other police officers are in the hospital with shrapnel wounds.
