France has handed over a second pilot ship to Ukraine to assist the country in exporting grain. The ship departed from Dunkirk and is expected to arrive in Ukraine within the next few days.
This information was shared by the French Minister of Transport, Clement Bon, on X.
The transfer of the ship is part of France’s efforts to support Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. France has also announced plans to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles and additional self-propelled artillery units, including the Caesar system.
“France has handed over a second pilot ship to support Ukraine, as promised. The vessel left Dunkirk; it will help export grain to help feed the world. Our commitment is total, our solidarity will not cease,” wrote the minister.
