Films will be shown free of cost in municipal cinemas of the city.
For the 31st anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, the creative project “Film Echo” (Kinovidlynnya-ed.) will be held in the capital from August 20 to 27. This is reported by the website of the Kyiv City Council.
“Together with specialists, we selected a list of patriotic films, which, during the week, Kyiv residents and guests of the capital will be able to watch for free in municipal cinemas. The best way to honor history and remember the most important events in the life of our country is to watch Ukrainian cinema. The war continues in the cultural front, so it is necessary to promote the Ukrainian artistic product” —the CE “Kyivkinofilm” commented.
