On October 23, during a meeting of the Coordination Committee for Mandatory Evacuation, it was announced that approximately 250 children from the Donetsk region will be evacuated.
This information is reported by the Ministry of Reintegration and the head of Kherson Regional State Administration, Alexander Prokudin.
The evacuation will take place from 8 settlements in the Bahmut and Pokrovsk districts, where the security situation remains critical. After that, the children, accompanied by one of their parents or a legal guardian, will be transported to a humanitarian hub before the onset of cold weather.
There, they will rest, receive assistance and support. Subsequently, they will be transported to the Zhytomyr region, where they will be provided with shelter, social benefits, humanitarian aid, and psychological support.
In Kherson region, the mandatory evacuation of children will occur in the following settlements: Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Mylove, Novokahyri, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Osokorivka, the town of Berislav, Zmiivka, Novoberislav, Tyahynka, Burhunka, Lvove, Mykolaivka, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Veseloe, Kozatske, Antonivka, Komyshany, Sadove, Pryozerne.
