HIV testing and all types of medical care for HIV-positive people in the capital remain reliable, free, and accessible despite the martial law

With the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, a number of measures have been taken to further simplify HIV testing.

In Kyiv, testing is quite accessible.

You can do it at any healthcare facility and even at your family doctor.

It’s recommended for people who either haven’t been tested for HIV infection at all or have done it long ago.

It’s also relevant for internally displaced persons.

Now they, like other citizens living with HIV, can receive medical care regardless of their place of residence.
