The occupants are unable to continue advancing from Bakhmut.
This was reported by military serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Danilo Yakovlev on KYIV24.
“From Bakhmut, the occupants are not attempting to break out and move further. In May, they had plans to advance to Chasove Yar, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Druzhkivka. They thought that taking Bakhmut would open an operational space for them. Yes, they took Bakhmut, but in doing so, they lost dominant heights to the north and south of the city. They are not encircled there, but they are under operational encirclement. It’s not always necessary to enter a city to liberate it. The advances in Kharkiv and Kherson regions have shown this well”, he stated.
