Until May 31, children from subsidized categories and those living in the school's area will have priority for school admission.
Starting June 1, schools will begin enrollment for the remaining open spots.
The deadline for enrollment is August 23. As of today, over 20% of spots are vacant in elementary schools.
Due to Russia’s full-scale invasion, children will be admitted to elementary schools upon submitting an application, either scanned or printed, provided by one of the parents via an authorized individual, fax, or e-mails to the school’s e-mail address. The required health certificate can be added to the application documents through August 23.
All of Kyiv’s 425 schools are now preparing to open for a new academic year.
