On August 28, representatives of the Ukrainian underground and the Resistance Forces eliminated enemy military patrols.
This was reported by the partisan movement “ATESH”.
“Our agents are conducting reconnaissance in the occupied city. We have also managed to eliminate military patrols operating in Luhansk. Some Russian soldiers were not found. Soldiers from the 2nd Army Corps (“LNR”) and other military units are joining our ranks, along with the civilian population”, the statement reads.
The guerrillas are also conducting reconnaissance in a city controlled by Russian occupiers. Ukrainian underground fighters note that members of the “LNR” group from various units of the occupying forces in the Luhansk region are switching sides to Ukraine and cooperating with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Furthermore, the local population is also supporting the activities of the guerrillas and joining the Resistance Forces. In their statement, the guerrillas add that the people of Luhansk have “realized their mistakes” and do not want to be associated with the “Russian world”.
Recalling, on August 13, guerrillas set fire to a Russian base in Mariupol.
