Victory in the war against Russia depends not only on Ukraine itself. The supply of modern Western weapons to Kyiv also plays a crucial role in concluding the war.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, stated that during a telethon.
“I would really like it to end in the 24th year. We will do everything necessary for that. But we need to be honest and say that not everything depends on us. A lot, but not everything. A lot depends on our partners”, Danilov said.
According to him, some Western partners continue to delay the supply of weapons “not to annoy Putin”.
“You can’t irritate this abomination anymore; it’s sick in the head. Making some far-sighted conclusions, diplomatic courtesies regarding Russia is a waste of time. We need victory, and it will definitely come”, he emphasized.
He reminded that at the beginning of the war, Ukraine had only four types of Western weapons: “Nlaw”, “Javelin”, “Stinger”, and “Bayraktar”.
