On the night of October 20, Russian forces carried out missile strikes on the city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region and the town of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in Kharkiv region. They also shelled Kherson and Berislav with artillery, and in the morning, Berislav was subjected to an air strike, resulting in one fatality.
This information was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Igor Klymenko.
“This night was restless in Donetsk, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions. In the morning, one person was killed as a result of the shelling”, he stated.
At 08:57, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that Russian military had conducted an airstrike on the city of Berislav one hour before. According to preliminary information, one person died. The State Emergency Service and National Police units are inspecting the area.
Donetsk region: During the night, the enemy fired four rockets at the city of Kostiantynivka. Six multi-story residential buildings and a school building were damaged. According to preliminary data, no one was injured.
Kharkiv region: Russian military conducted an airstrike on the town of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. Four private houses and five commercial kiosks were damaged.
Kherson region: Occupiers launched six air strikes on the villages of Berislav District. Berislav itself was targeted with multiple rocket launchers and artillery fire. A private house was damaged, and firefighters extinguished a fire. In Kherson, the enemy started shelling with artillery at midnight. A private house was damaged, but there were no casualties. In turn, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that around 04:00, the Russian army conducted aviation strikes on two populated areas in Kherson region: the enemy dropped four aerial bombs on Zmiivka and two guided aerial bombs targeted Novoberislav. During the past day, seven people in Kherson region were injured due to Russian aggression.
Recall that on October 19, militants shelled a residential area in Kherson with artillery, resulting in injuries to three people.
