In the Black Sea near the village of Chornomorske in occupied Crimea, two Russian fast landing craft were hit during the night of November 10.

This was reported by the Ukrainian intelligence press service.

As a result of the nocturnal operation within the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, small landing ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were affected. These were vessels of the Project 11770 (Serna-class) type. The ships carried a crew and loaded armored vehicles, including the BTR-82.

The special operation was successfully executed with the support of the United24 platform. Russia, the aggressor state, actively utilized these small Serna-class landing craft during the occupation of Zmiinyi Island to transport military equipment and personnel.

Additionally, the Russians equipped the vessels with Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems for mobile coverage of their group on the island and in the Black Sea. The small Serna-class landing ship boasts high speed, capable of carrying up to 45 tons of cargo and 92 armed personnel.

Occupiers use these craft for landing advance marine infantry groups or for evacuation purposes. Moreover, due to the virtual absence of Russian naval air defense assets after a series of attacks by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, these vessels with the anti-aircraft missile systems on board served as cover for Russian Federation naval ships on raids.
