In the sky above Kyiv and the surrounding region, 6 “hypersonic” missiles were shot down

During the attack on June 16, the air defense destroyed 12 missiles, including 6 so-called "hypersonic" missiles "Kinzhal" .

This information was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to military sources, the following were destroyed in the sky of the capital region:

• 6 air-ballistic missiles “Kinzhals”;
• 6 cruise missiles “Kalibr”;
• 2 reconnaissance UAVs.

As a result of the falling debris of the downed missiles in Kyiv region, private houses were damaged and two people were injured.
