The contractor will replace the rubber flooring under warranty.
General Director of the VDNKh Yevgeny Mushkin announced this.
According to him, the VDNKh administration receives complaints about the quality of the rubber flooring on the streetball and basketball courts of the Urban Park.
“We know about this problem, and it will be solved. What happened: the contractor had to hand over the work to the Expocenter, as the customer, by 08/21/21. But there was a delay due to weather conditions (rain). The workers were in a hurry so as not to let us down on time, and as a result, in our oppinion, they discrupted the technology,” Mushkin explained.
He added that the contractor is a respectable and responsible company in the construction market of Ukraine.
“They recognize that this is their responsibility. This is a warranty case. Under the warranty, everything will be done as it should be. But we all have to wait, because due to the war there are difficulties with the financial resources of the contractor to carry out warranty work. Taxpayers’ funds will not be used to correct this error,” Mushkin said.
