All those who have expressed a desire to study offline will have such an opportunity.

This was reported by the Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko in Telegram.

According to the mayor, all schools in the capital have already been checked for shelters. It turned out that 22 schools will not be able to start full-time education from September 1.

“22 out of 421 public schools will work exclusively online, because there are no shelters within walking distance of them,” Mayor Klitschko said.

According to the mayor, another school in the Podil district will start working online. This educational institution suffered the most during the Russian shelling. This school is still under renovation.

“Others – 95% of schools in Kyiv will work in a mixed format of education – both offline and online. Everyone who expressed a desire to study face-to-face will have such an opportunity. Today, there are 132,000 pupils” the mayor added.

Also, according to Klitschko:

• 60% of pupils are currently in Kyiv;

• another 20% are abroad;

• 20% – in other regions of Ukraine.
