Kyiv City Council has voted to allocate UAH 215 million to rebuild the communities, cities, and towns in the Chernigiv and Kyiv regions and Kherson that suffered atrocities of russian invasion

The funding is used primarily to restore facilities damaged as a result of Russia's armed aggression during hostilities in 2022.

The Kyiv City Council has also allocated UAH 100 million in one-time financial aid to volunteers who defended Kyiv from February 24 to June 1, 2022.

The allowance in the amount of UAH 13,400 will be provided to around 10,000 volunteers.
