According to him, they plan to purchase mobile boiler rooms in Kyiv, which will become a backup source of heat supply in case of emergency situations during the heating season.

“Preparation for winter in the capital is at the final stage, all necessary planned work has been completed, elimination of identified emergency damage to networks, planned work on power networks and equipment is underway. However, understanding the complexity of the upcoming heating season and the seriousness of the risks it will be accompanied by, taking into account the state of war, the city is taking additional measures in case of emergency situations, the mayor of the capital noted.

A stock of reserve fuel for the thermal power plant and an additional number of generators was purchased, and a decision was made to purchase the required number of mobile boiler rooms. They will work as backup sources of heating buildings,” Klitschko said.

Kyiv is preparing for the heating season, attracting all resources and opportunities. Hydraulic tests of networks were carried out in the capital and more than 2,000 damages that could occur in winter have already been eliminated. More than 17 kilometers of networks have already been replaced. Today, the main heat sources have been put into operation and hot water supply has been restored or continues to be restored to Kyiv residents.
