Lithuania will provide Ukraine with €200 million in military assistance, including ammunition, military equipment, training for Ukrainian soldiers, and joint production of anti-drone systems.

The announcement was made during a briefing by the head of the state, as reported by Kyiv24.

Lithuania is significantly bolstering its military aid to Ukraine by approving a package worth €200 million. The assistance will encompass ammunition, military equipment, training for Ukrainian soldiers, and joint production of anti-drone systems. The aid package will be delivered in stages, with shipments in January and February. In January, Lithuania will send ammunition, generators, and detonation systems, while in February, command and control vehicles (M-577) will be dispatched.

Additionally, Lithuania will continue to train Ukrainian soldiers and strengthen cooperation in the defense industry. On January 10, agreements on the joint production of anti-drone systems were signed between Lithuanian and Ukrainian defense industries.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky highly praised Lithuania’s assistance, considering it a crucial step in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and countering Russian aggression.
