French President Emmanuel Macron had a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Sunday, September 11.

That’s according to the Kremlin press service.

The Kremlin said the parties “expressed mutual readiness for non-politicized interaction regarding the situation around the ZNPP (Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant – ed.) with the IAEA involvement.”

The presidents also discussed the “grain issue.” In particular, Putin suggested destinations where Ukrainian grain should be supplied.

On September 10, President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron. The two leaders discussed the developments in the war zone and the situation at the Zaporizhia NPP.
