On Wednesday, April 19, another military exercise began in Belarus, this time testing anti-aircraft defense systems. They will last until April 22.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
“According to the preparation plan, from April 19 to 22, a tactical exercise is being conducted with one of the units of the air defense missile troops of the Armed Forces and air defense forces”, the statement said.
It is noted that Belarusian military personnel are to march to designated areas and perform combat training tasks to cover troops and critically important civilian infrastructure objects from air attacks and precision weapons.
It should be recalled that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine decided to summon the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus, Igor Kyzym, for consultations after dictator Lukashenko’s meeting with the leader of the so-called “DNR,” Denis Pushilin.
