Eight private residential buildings and five apartment blocks were damaged in the Russian massive attack in Kyiv region on Wednesday.

“Summing up [information] for yesterday, five people were killed and 35 more were injured. As for destructions, eight private houses, five apartment blocks and two state institutions – a kindergarten and a school – were damaged. I will not comment on [destructions of] critical infrastructure objects for obvious reasons,” Andriy Nebytov, Chief of Kyiv Region Department of National Police, said at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine–Ukrinform.

Answering a question about the strike on Vyshgorod, the official noted that there are no targets near the struck house at a distance of almost a kilometer that could be destroyed by the Russian Federation. According to him, even the energy and critical infrastructure facilities are located at a considerable distance from the struck house.

As reported, the missile attack on November 23 led to the temporary blackout of all nuclear power plants, most thermal power plants and hydropower plants. Electric power transmission facilities were also damaged.
