More than 200 animals rescued from the most affected regions of Ukraine will spend the winter at the Kyiv Zoo, in addition to the zoo’s permanent residents

The zoo's workers are doing everything they can to keep the animals warm, cared for, and fed.

To that end, they are stocking up on feed, insulating buildings, and purchasing electric generators, infrared heaters, and wood-burning stoves.

It would be impossible to ensure the zoo’s full-fledged operation without the help of patrons and zoo guests through the purchase of tickets, as this allows the largest costs to be covered: feed, veterinary equipment, medicines, electricity, gas, water supply, and infrastructure support.
