The Russian defense in the occupied Kherson region is weakening.

This was shared by Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Yevhen Karas in an interview with KYIV24.

“There are plenty of positive events in the Kherson region, and they are struggling in Zaporizhzhia. We clearly see that the Armed Forces are advancing on three fronts, and the enemy lacks the strength to redeploy troops everywhere”, he explained.

The military personnel noted that the occupiers have redeployed the 34th brigade from the Kherson direction to this front a while ago. Additionally, the Russian military of the 7th Air Assault Division is located in the Zaporizhzhia region.

According to Yevhen, in the meantime, the occupiers have redeployed a not-yet-fully-formed strategic reserve to the Kherson region, specifically the newly created 70th brigade.

Recall that in July, the mayor of Melitopol reported that the occupiers were relocating military equipment from the Kherson region to the Zaporizhzhia direction.
