“Since 4 AM on August 24, 2023, Russian enforcers are conducting searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchisarai and Bakhchisarai district”, he stated.
According to the head of the Mejlis, searches are currently taking place in the homes of Ruslan Asanov, Seydamet Mustafaev, Remzi Nemetulaev, Abdulmedzhit Seytumerov, Ametkhan Umerov, and Eldar Yakubov.
“This is the occupiers’ retaliation against Crimean Tatars for the third summit of the Crimean Platform that took place yesterday in Kyiv and their own fear of the inevitable liberation of Crimea,” Chubarov added. According to “Crimean Solidarity”, the activists Mustafaev, Seytumerov, Umerov, and Nemetulaev are being taken by the security forces to the FSB office in Simferopol.
