The First Lady of Ukraine met with US Ambassador Bridget Brink, who handed her a letter from Jill Biden. In May, Jill came to Ukraine for a visit. Together they visited the families of forced migrants in Uzhhorod.
“Then Mrs. Biden saw in her own eyes how much horror our mothers endured through saving their children from the war, what psychological consequences of Russian aggression our children will have to grow up with. Therefore, in the letter, she assures: the United States will provide comprehensive support in the development of our program to recover the mental health of Ukrainians – both in Ukraine and by carring about refugees who have found refuge in the United States,” Zelenska commented.
Mrs. Zelenska thanked the USA for its support in the fight against the Russian invaders and assured of strong friendly cooperation.
